Absolutely. We partner with Central Coast farms for organic produce, pasture-raised meats from SLO County ranches, and grass-fed dairy from California creameries. Supporting our local food community is core to who we are.
What makes Mothership meals different from regular frozen meals?
Every recipe is built around traditional postpartum foods — warming dishes, iron-carrying ingredients, and slow-simmered broths, the kind of food cultures have leaned on for generations after birth. Created by a chef who studied neuroscience at Penn and then became a mother herself.
When should I order if I'm expecting?
We recommend ordering 3-4 weeks before your due date. Meals stay fresh in your freezer for up to 6 months, so they'll be ready when you need them. Many moms order their second round after baby arrives.
