Let's get started

Create a Meal Train

Organize nourishing meals for someone who needs support

How a Mothership meal train works

The group gift for a new baby that actually helps: real postpartum meals, funded together, delivered without anyone touching a casserole dish.

1

Set it up in minutes

Tell us who the meals are for, pick a package as the goal, and add a few words about why you’re rallying. No accounts, no spreadsheets.

2

Share one link

Send it to the group chat. Friends and family chip in toward the goal, and the train page shows the progress as contributions come in.

3

We cook, she rests

When the train is funded, we cook the meals and deliver them frozen to her door. She reheats; nobody coordinates casseroles.

Meal train questions, answered

What is a Mothership meal train?

A meal train is how friends organize meals for a family after a baby arrives. A Mothership meal train replaces the sign-up spreadsheet and casserole drop-offs: everyone chips in toward chef-made postpartum meals, and we handle the cooking and the delivery.

How is this different from a traditional meal train?

Nobody has to cook or coordinate drop-off nights. You share one link, friends and family contribute online, and the meals arrive frozen — ready to reheat whenever she is.

Can contributors give any amount?

Yes. Friends can chip in any amount, put their contribution toward a specific meal, or cover the whole package at once. Every contribution shows up on the train page.

What happens if the goal isn't reached?

Nothing is lost. If the goal isn't fully met by the end date, what your group raised becomes a Mothership gift card for the family, so every dollar still turns into meals.

Where do you deliver?

We cook everything in our Paso Robles kitchen and ship frozen throughout California. Contributors can chip in from anywhere — only the family receiving the meals needs to be in California.
