Delivered frozen, anywhere in California

Postpartum meals, delivered. No subscription.

Real meals, cooked slowly in Paso Robles and frozen at their best — one box, packed with dry ice, straight to your freezer. Order once; it keeps up to 6 months.

You don't have to earn a nourishing meal by reaching a breaking point. You can simply be hungry.

How delivery works

1. Order when it suits you

Many families order 3-4 weeks before your due date so the freezer is full before baby arrives — but before or after works too.

2. We cook slowly and freeze

Everything is made in our Paso Robles kitchen and frozen at its best, then packed into one box with dry ice.

3. It lands in your freezer

Anywhere in California. Heat what you want, when you want — stove, oven, or microwave — it keeps up to 6 months.

What's in the freezer?

48-Hour Bone Broth. Warming Chicken Soup. Saffron & Coconut Chicken Curry. Turmeric & Ginger Dal. Overnight oats you can eat one-handed at 3am. Sourdough from a five-year-old starter. And the brownies your partner will steal.

Warming, satisfying food with all the work done upfront — your only job is to eat it. (From a mug counts.)

Good questions

Where does Mothership deliver postpartum meals?

Anywhere in California — meals ship frozen with dry ice, straight to your door. Closer to home, we offer local delivery in SLO County and free pickup in Paso Robles, CA.

How do the meals arrive, and how long do they keep?

Everything arrives frozen, packed with dry ice, and goes straight into your freezer — where it keeps up to 6 months. Reheat on the stove, in the oven, or in the microwave; the food is forgiving about all three.

What kind of food is it?

Real meals, cooked slowly in our Paso Robles kitchen: 48-Hour Bone Broth, Warming Chicken Soup, Saffron & Coconut Chicken Curry, Turmeric & Ginger Dal, overnight oats you can eat one-handed, sourdough from a five-year-old starter, and brownies. The menu shows what goes into every dish.

When should I order?

Many families order 3-4 weeks before your due date, so the freezer is stocked before baby arrives — but you can order whenever you need it, before or after the birth. Deliveries run weekly: Tuesday deliveries; order by Thursday at 12:00 PM (noon) to make that week's delivery.

Do I have to commit to a subscription?

No. Packages are one-time purchases — order once, fill the freezer, and reorder only if you want to. (There's an optional bone broth subscription for people who go through a lot of it.)

Can someone else buy this for me?

Yes, and they often do — packages ship as gifts, friends can pool a meal train, and gift cards run from $25 to $5,000, never expire, and let you build your own box. If someone asks what you need, this is an easy answer to give them.

Fill the freezer once.

Then forget about dinner for a while. That's the whole idea.
