Hi, I'm Zoe! I am a wife, a mom of 2, and a Certified Birth Doula. I live in Tigard, but happily attend births from Portland to Salem+. :) My love for birth surprised me when I had my first baby. I really enjoyed learning all about pregnancy, how our bodies change and adapt and how powerful birthing women are! After my own no epidural birth to a 10 lb 15 oz baby, I have become passionate about educating and empowering women to trust their body’s innate ability to birth their baby, no matter the size. Even though birth is unpredictable, I believe there is a lot we can do in pregnancy and labor to prepare and make space for baby’s entrance into your arms, and I want to support you and your partner every step of the way Salem Doulas is a proud partner of Compass Perinatal Family and Community Support and Compass Perinatal Peer Support .

A doula is non-medical support: someone who knows birth and the weeks after it, and stays with you through both. Birth doulas are with you in labor. Postpartum doulas come to the house afterward and help with the baby, feeding, meals, and letting you sleep. Many are certified through DONA, CAPPA, or ProDoula, and since 2023 Medi-Cal covers doula care in California, which is why so many doulas now hold an NPI number.
