I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Perinatal Mood Disorder Specialist located in La Crescenta, CA. I graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles with a Masters in Social Welfare in 2008 with a specialty in Mental Health. Prior to that I received my Bachelor's degree from California State University, Chico in Social Work. My background has been helping individuals, especially women, in community mental health and homeless service organizations in Los Angeles County. My approach to perinatal therapy is rooted in a deep understanding of the unique emotional, psychological and physiological experiences that pregnant individuals and new parents may face. I offer a safe and non-judgmental space for clients to explore their feelings, fears, and concerns, while providing evidence-based therapeutic interventions to promote mental and emotional well-being.
