A birth doula provides emotional, physical, and educational support during pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. Doulas DO NOT provide any clinical support. Blake will provide support to families leading up to, during, and after their birth. Blake has been working as a Richmond doula since 2018. Through her years of experience she has built many relationships with hospitals, birth centers, OB/GYNs, midwives, and nurses. While Blake primarily practices in the Richmond, VA area, she has and is happy to assist families from Williamsburg to Fredericksburg and the Northern Neck to Amelia. Blake has been providing education to expectant families within the Richmond area since 2010 and in 2018 added birth doula services to her offerings. She is a Lamaze Certified Childbirth Educator and a Fellow in the Academy of Childbirth Education. Additionally she is a registered yoga teacher and certified prenatal/postnatal yoga teacher.
