A Lifesaver for Baby #3
When my third baby was born, I was surprised to struggle with breastfeeding, especially since I had successfully breastfed my two older children without any issues. My newborn was having trouble latching and wasn't gaining weight, and I felt overwhelmed and discouraged! Carolyn was incredibly supportive and knowledgeable. She reminded me that although it was my third time nursing, it was this baby's first time. She taught me techniques that made a real difference and within days my baby was feeding well and thriving. Carolyn's calm presence and expertise gave me the confidence I needed during a tough time. I'm so grateful for her support and highly recommend her to any new mom!

Lactation consultants help with feeding: latch, supply, pumping, bottles, going back to work, weaning. IBCLC is the international board credential and takes years of clinical hours to earn. CLC and CLE are shorter certifications. Many consultants do home visits, and a lot of them now see families over video too.
