It was a powerful sign that I was on the right path. I felt I was being guided and that midwifery runs through my veins. I have spent the last decade working in maternal health specifically with pregnant women going through domestic violence, substance abuse, and mental health issues with local non-profit organizations in Los Angeles. I am also a birth and postpartum doula, lactation educator, and a placenta encapsulation specialist. Most importantly, I am a mother to two children and they have taught me my biggest motherhood lessons. When I'm off call, I enjoy sleeping, my family, going to the beach, traveling, visiting family in the Dominican Republic, going to Tijuana, dancing Bachata and Banda, learning about herbs, watching movies, and Disneyland.","photo":"https://alumbramidwifery.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/08/Alumbra.jpg","location":{"city":"Los Angeles","county":"Los Angeles","state":"CA","zip":null,"lat":null,"lng":null},"service_area":null,"years_in_practice":null,"phone":null,"website":"https://alumbramidwifery.com","instagram":"https://instagram.com/alumbramidwifery","facebook":"https://www.facebook.com/alumbramidwifery/","npi":null,"license_type":null,"accepts_medi_cal":true,"telehealth":null,"status":"unclaimed","claimed":false,"rating":null,"reviews_elsewhere":[],"last_confirmed":"2026-10-20T03:46:50.958+00:00","contact_url":"https://eatmothership.com/directory/listing/alumbra-midwifery-midwife-los-angeles#contact","claim_url":"https://eatmothership.com/directory/claim/alumbra-midwifery-midwife-los-angeles","reviews":[]}
